Oct 18, 2010· How long should it take a blanchard grinder to cut 1/8" off a 304L stainless steel plate? I have a 1" thick 304L stainless plate that is about 3.5 feet wide and 6 feet long. I sent it out to a shop to have it ground flat. It was stress relieved before it went to the grinding shop. Supposedly, it's been on the Blanchard for "three full days".
